- Dana Jacobson
Dana Jacobson joined CBS Sports in 2013 as a studio host on CBS Sports Network. She currently serves as a reporter for the network's coverage of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, as well as a host on WE NEED TO TALK and THAT OTHER PREGAME SHOW. Jacobson also co-hosts CBS Saturday Morning.
Prior to joining CBS Sports, Jacobson served as an anchor on ESPN’s SportsCenter. She went on to anchor and host ESPN First Take (originally known as Cold Pizza), Outside the Lines, and College Football Live. She also served as sideline reporter for ESPN’s Sunday Night NBA showcase game, as well as ESPN’s Summer and Winter X Games, hosting the event’s nightly wrap up show: XCenter.
Jacobson began her television career as an assignment editor at the CBS affiliate in her hometown of Detroit, Mich. She turned her focus to on-air reporting and anchoring in Traverse City, Mich. and Sacramento, Calif. where she was honored with National Headliner and Regional Edward R Murrow Awards for sports reporting.
Additionally, Jacobson serves as an adjunct professor at New York University, teaching a sports franchises course for the Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management. Jacobson is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
