- Rich Waltz
Rich Waltz joined CBS Sports in 2013, and he currently serves as a play-by-play announcer on CBS Sports’ college football and basketball coverage. He was a three-time Emmy Award winner during his thirteen years as the television voice of the Miami Marlins.
Waltz has previously called SEC and ACC football and basketball games for FSN/Raycom; Big 10, ACC, SEC and Pac-12 games for ESPN/ABC; NBA postseason games; NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament games on NCAA March Madness Live VR; ATP and WTA tournaments for Tennis Channel; and NFL Europe on FOX. Waltz is also an MLB play-by-play announcer, calling games across ESPN, FOX, TBS and MLB Network.
Waltz played college baseball at the University of California, Davis. He currently resides in Issaquah, Washington.
