Lisa Carlin is a host and analyst for CBS Sports’ soccer coverage, namely ATTACKING THIRD, which she helped launch in 2021 and has become the No. 1 women’s soccer social brand among U.S. broadcasters. ATTACKING THIRD is dedicated exclusively to comprehensive coverage of the top domestic and international women’s soccer competitions. Carlin also appears on CBS Sports HQ and as a commentator for NWSL matches.

Having joined CBS Sports in 2017, Carlin has also worked with 247Sports and as an editor, video production coordinator and producer. 

A Philadelphia native, she went to Marquette University in Milwaukee to pursue her journalism career while playing Division I soccer. Her time at Marquette saw two BIG EAST conference championships, two NCAA tournament appearances and a pair of undefeated seasons.

When not in the booth, at the studio or roaming the sidelines, Lisa enjoys staying active, traveling with her husband, Jimmy, and spending time with family and friends.
