Bridget Moynahan continues to have a stronghold in Hollywood as a sought-after leading lady. She starred in Lionsgate’s action thriller “John Wick” and the sequel “John Wick 2” alongside Keanu Reeves.
Moynahan made her feature film debut in “Coyote Ugly” as Rachel, a bartender and dancer in a wild New York City bar. She went on to star alongside John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale in the romantic comedy “Serendipity.” Soon after, she was cast opposite Ben Affleck and Morgan Freeman in the action film “The Sum of All Fears,” based on Tom Clancy’s best-selling novel of the same name. Additional feature film credits include “I, Robot,” “The Recruit,” “Battle: Los Angeles,” “Lord of War,” “Drunk Parents,” “Noise,” “Ramona and Beezus” and the independent features “Small Time” and “Midnight Sun.”
On television, Moynahan portrayed Natasha, Carrie Bradshaw’s rival and Mr. Big’s wife in the series “Sex and the City.” Also, she starred in J.J. Abrams’ drama “Six Degrees.”
With a strong interest in childhood education, Moynahan takes time to serve on the national board of directors for Jumpstart, a national early education organization that works with children in low-income neighborhoods. She is also actively involved with the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a community dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families.
In 2015 Moynahan co-authored The Blue Bloods Cookbook with Wendy Goldberg, which includes 120 recipes, some of which were submitted by the cast. The book continues to sell successfully.
