Joanna Klein is currently under an overall producing deal at CBSTV with her partner, Jennie Snyder Urman. Prior to that she served as SVP of scripted development at Lifetime Network, where she was responsible for development and production of all scripted series, including the hit series “UnReal” and romantic thriller “You.”

Prior to Lifetime, Klein was SVP of scripted series at The CW Network; VP of scripted at Regency TV; and VP of scripted series at Lionsgate, where she developed award-winning series and hits such as “Riverdale,” “Weeds,” “Gossip Girl,” “Vampire Diaries,” “The Flash,” “Arrow,” “Jane the Virgin,” “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” and more. Over the course of her career, she has developed over 500 pilot scripts and worked on over 50 shot pilots and series. Before Klein started her career in the television business she spent two years as an equities analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York.
