September 2024
An Ohio native, Amanda Kloots brings her infectious and inspirational attitude to everything that she does. She serves as host of THE TALK, CBS’ Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show highlighting current events, pop culture, family, celebrity and trending topics of the day through the eyes of five hosts, alongside Akbar Gbajabiamila, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Sheryl Underwood.
In January 2024, Kloots hosted the primetime FAMILY FILM AND TV AWARDS show along Gbajabiamila. She also starred in and executive produced the holiday film FIT FOR CHRISTMAS for CBS in December of 2022. This marked Kloots’ acting debut in a leading role. In 2021, Kloots returned to her dancing roots and competed in the 30th season of “Dancing with the Stars.”
A former Broadway dancer and Radio City Rockette, Kloots performed on a variety of stage, film and TV productions for over 17 years. In 2016, Kloots decided to focus full time on her AK! Fitness brand – her signature classes feature jump rope, dance cardio and full body training.
Kloots’ first memoir and New York Times bestseller Live Your Life, co-written with her sister, was released in June 2021. The book tells of her 95-day struggle and love story with her late husband, Nick Cordero. She also penned a second book in April 2023, titled Tell Me Your Dreams. The children’s book is a bedtime picture story inspired by Kloots’ own bedtime rituals with her son, Elvis.
Currently, Kloots resides in Los Angeles with her 5-year-old son, Elvis. Her birthday is March 19. Follow her on Facebook, X and Instagram @amandakloots.
