LARRY TENG

Director / Executive Producer on “Walker Independence”

Larry Teng serves as executive producer and pilot director for The CW’s highly anticipated new series “Walker Independence.”

 

Teng is a veteran television director with over 100 episodes of experience in network, cable and streaming. He has worked on tentpole series such as “Hawaii Five-0” and “Criminal Minds” to cult favorites such as “The Walking Dead” and “Doom Patrol.” He recently executive produced and directed the pilot for “NCIS Hawai’i” and The CW’s “Walker Independence.” Additionally, Teng directed the “Nancy Drew” pilot for The CW where he is also an executive producer. 

 

Teng got his directorial break on the hit series “Medium” and the episode he helmed helped garner Patricia Arquette an Emmy® nomination that year. In addition to directing, Teng is also a writer and a producer, having sold numerous network and streaming projects under his overall deal with CBS Studios. 

 

Born in Queens, New York, Teng grew up on Long Island. He is a graduate of Ithaca College and holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of the Arts in both Film and Theatre.
