Carl Beverly runs Timberman/Beverly Productions with his producing partner, Sarah Timberman. In addition to being executive producers of current CBS drama, SEAL TEAM, starring David Boreanaz, and recently released Netflix series, “Unbelievable,” Timberman-Beverly also produced award winning “Justified” for FX for six seasons, critically acclaimed Showtime series “Masters of Sex,” the Sherlock Holmes drama “Elementary,” a Matthew Perry remake of Neil Simon's “Odd Couple” and crime series “Unforgettable” for the Network, and many more across the television landscape.
Recently, the company left its longtime home at CBS Studios for ABCS/DISNEY, where they signed a new long term deal to produce for all Disney platforms. Additionally, they have several shows in development, including a straight to series commitment at FX and a production commitment at HULU being penned by Graham Moore, author of the acclaimed film “Imitation Game.”
Beverly began his career at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Columbia Tri-Star (CTTV) in the drama development department with Timberman, where he was part of the team that developed “Dawson’s Creek.” He later joined Artists Television Group (ATG) and two years later, Beverly re-joined Timberman at Universal Television, where he eventually became head of the drama department and developed and oversaw several series, including Michael Mann’s “Robbery Homicide Division,” for the Network, Elmore Leonard’s “Karen Cisco,” “American Dreams” and “Mister Sterling.”
Beverly was raised in Los Angeles and is a graduate from The University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate in law. He is a member of the California State Bar.
