SHOWTIME CELEBRATES SOUL FOOD'S FAREWELL

New York, New York...May 10, 2004...The Showtime hit series SOUL FOOD, which has been a favorite with critics and fans alike for five seasons, airs its final episode on Wednesday, May 26 at 10:00 PM (ET/PT). The award-winning show has the distinction of being the longest-running African-American drama on television and one of Showtime's most popular series.
To celebrate its groundbreaking success for the network, all five seasons of the award-winning series will be rebroadcast beginning June 2, the week immediately following the season finale. Two episodes will air back-to-back each Wednesday at 9:00 PM (ET/PT) and 10:00 PM (ET/PT), providing an unprecedented viewing opportunity for avid fans and new ones. This special scheduling will air for 37 consecutive weeks, concluding on Wednesday, February 9, 2005.

Season 2 (20 episodes)   August 11-October 13
Season 3 (10 episodes)   October 20-November 17

Viewers will get the chance to again experience the trials and tribulations of the Joseph family. They can see their favorite cast members Rockmond Dunbar, Darrin DeWitt Henson, Aaron Meeks, Nicole Ari Parker, Malinda Williams, Vanessa Williams and Boris Kodjoe in roles that have made them household names.
 
A dramatic series based on the 1997 hit film of the same name, SOUL FOOD premiered on Showtime in June 2000. SOUL FOOD is a Waterwalk Production, Edmonds Entertainment and State Street Pictures production in association with Paramount Network Television. Season five of SOUL FOOD is executive produced by Tracey Edmonds, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, George Tillman, Jr., Robert Teitel, Salim Akil and Kathleen McGhee-Anderson.
