SECOND SEASON OF SHOWTIME'S HIT LATE NIGHT SERIES "FAMILY BUSINESS" PREMIERES ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 30

NEW YORK, January 6, 2003 -- FAMILY BUSINESS, the late night reality series from SHOWTIME about an average family trying to make a living in the adult entertainment industry premieres on Friday, January 30 at 11:00 PM ET/PT.   A hilarious blend of real-life absurd situations, eccentric characters and of course skin, FAMILY BUSINESS focuses on the charismatic Adam Glasser and his alter ego, "Seymore Butts," as well as his meddling, but well-meaning mom Lila and his cantankerous cousin Stevie, who together run their production company.   The half-hour show premieres in its regular time slot at 11:00 PM on Friday nights, as part of SHOWTIME's late night block.
This unique blend of comedy and reality, which is for adult audiences only, follows Adam as he faces the same problems that many people encounter - running his own company, juggling a hectic schedule and looking for the love of his life.  Adam's life is like anyone else's--almost.  As an adult film producer and director, his everyday challenges may be a little more unique.   This season, Adam deals with fame and his new female fans, Lila tries to get her cookbook published and Cousin Stevie renews his vows in Vegas, complete with the bachelor party he never had.
The first season of FAMILY BUSINESS premiered on SHOWTIME in February 2003.  The show is executive produced by multiple Emmy Awardâ-winning producers Arnold Shapiro and Allison Grodner, executive producers of the CBS series "Big Brother."  FAMILY BUSINESS is also executive produced by Jay Blumenfield and Anthony Marsh.
The first season of FAMILY BUSINESS will be available in stores on DVD and VHS on Tuesday, January 6.  The three-disc set includes: all 10 episodes from the first season, a family tree, interviews with Adam and his family, deleted scenes, hilarious commentary and more.
