Thursday on "The Talk" Skye Marshall makes her television talk show debut and dishes on "Matlock" and her friendship with Kathy Bates. On how this version of "Matlock" is different from the 80's version, she says, "Because have Kathy Bates, I mean, so much love to Andy [Griffith] and series, the original, but what we did is not a reboot it's a complete reimagination." On becoming friends with Bates, she reveals, "She is in my cell phone, she actually texted me last night and she was like I'm just so excited to be on this ride with you because this is my Cinderella story, this is my breakout role, nobody knew who I was...but being Kathy's friend, we cried this day at Times Square seeing her billboard [photo] because even as Kathy, you know seeing me like oh my God this is so new for me I can't believe this is happening to me, Kathy Bates is also like I never imagined being on a billboard by myself at 76." Marshall goes on to share the story about the first time she was recognized while shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.

- Bonnie Hunt visits "The Talk" and confirms new sitcom in the works and dishes on Taylor Kinney crush. Jerry O'Connell says, 'Bonnie, this is so exciting, you are writing a new sitcom." Hunt jokes, "That's a boldface lie. Yes, I'm always writing something, I'm writing a new sitcom." O'Connell, "Are you allowed to talk about it at all?" Hunt adds, "No, well no." She goes on to say, "I gotta tell you a story about being over age. You know the guy [Taylor Kinney] who was engaged to Lady Gaga who's on 'Chicago Fire'... So I meet him in Chicago at a fundraiser for like you know medical research. And he's kind of talking to me, and I'm like is he flirting or am I imagining it? I'm like, I hope so. So I think about this for a while and the event is over, but he talked to me and stuff. And then there's another charity event like a year and half later, he comes up to me...and he says 'Bonnie, hi.' He goes, 'Gosh, I've been thinking about you since I saw you.' I'm like, I knew it. He's flirting with me. He says, 'But I didn't get your number, and I couldn't contact you.' And my, I'm telling you guys, my whole body changed, all the sudden I was 25 again. And he says to me, 'I wanted to call you because I thought maybe you could play my mom on the show.'"

Emmanuel Acho and Taye Diggs visit "The Talk" and dish on their new reality competition show "Second Chance Stage." On how Chip and Joanna Gaines hand-picked Acho for his role as host, he explains, "In 2020...I started this show 'Uncomfortable Conversations' talking about race trying to bridge the gap. True story, after my first episode with Matthew McConaughey, Chip Gaines reached out to me, he said, hey I'd love to be on the show under one condition...I want to sit down and talk to you but I want my kids there...at that moment we forged a relationship, didn't see Chip for another four years until we were getting ready for 'Second Chance Stage'...they said we wanted to find a way to work with you...it's just powerful." He adds, "We all can relate to the characters in this cast, and it took us through a gauntlet of emotions." Diggs adds, "It [emotions] caught me off guard...once you hear these people's stories it makes you look at the talent in a completely different way...it was too much for me." Acho reveals, "A quick true story, cause I'm hosting and I look at Taye in the audience...and just waterworks." Diggs reacts, "I don't know if it's because I'm older, I can't control it. My son makes fun of me."

She admits, "So, I'm not allowed to 100% confirm anything yet but I think the fans of the show are going to be super excited because we have something in the works." Natalie Morales asks, "Does it involve your character and bringing back some of the old favorites?" Cosgrove shares, "Yes, and we actually ended the revival on a cliffhanger and we're going to wrap that up." Morales presses, "Is it a movie? Okay, you heard it here first on 'The Talk.'"

Cosgrove admits, "Um, not yet. If I'm being totally honest no, I'm like right pretty much were I was at when I saw you guys last." On her type and what she's looking for, she reveals, "Tall and nerdy and gangly."

Monday on "The Talk" host Akbar Gbajabiamila explains his new clean-shaven look. "I shaved all of this off. But I didn't do it willingly. I lost a wager. I do a show in the morning called 'Good Morning Football,' and it's a football show. I was for certain that the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Washington Commanders, that the Commanders would win this game, hands down. So much so that I would cut my mustache, my goatee, all of that, if they lost, right? And sure enough, the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Commanders. So, I had to shave. This is pre-pubescent Akbar...I can't wait for this thing to grow back."
